Spotify playlists are so necessary to the music experience on the platform. It helps users create and share collections of songs based on genre, time, location, popularity, etc. Many advantages come with following or making playlists.
Playlists can become obsolete if they are based on popular songs at a particular time or within a specific location. Instead of having a library with collections, you should just delete them.
Guide to Deleting Your Playlist
Before you delete your Spotify playlist, remember that this action is not reversible. You are also not permitted to delete a playlist you did not create. Unfollow the playlist if you want to remove this type from your library.
Use the steps below to delete your playlist from your Spotify library. They are the same regardless of your device type or operating system.
- Select the Your Library tab on your profile to see all artists, albums, podcasts, and playlists.
- Filter the view with the Playlists option at the top to show only those.
- Choose the playlist you want to delete and click/tap on the menu icon. It’s the one with the three dots.
- Tap/Click on Delete to remove the playlist and confirm your action.
